Blockchain Summer School @ UPB

Welcome to the official repository of the Blockchain Summer School, organized by the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB). This program is dedicated to students, researchers, and developers who want to explore the world of blockchain technologies through hands-on sessions, lectures, and team-based challenges.

🎯 Admission Challenge​

To demonstrate your commitment and basic blockchain knowledge, complete this challenge:

Send 50 USDC on MultiversX Devnet to:

Steps to complete:

  1. Set up a MultiversX wallet (xPortal or DeFi Wallet);
  2. Connect to MultiversX Devnet;
  3. Get test EGLD from the faucet;
  4. Swap those tokens to 50 USDC on xExchange Devnet DEX;
  5. Send exactly 50 USDC to the provided address;
  6. Submit your transaction hash through the enrollment form.

🏆 Final Challenge​

Participants will form teams and develop a blockchain-based project.

📝 How to Participate​

  • Registration is now open! Apply before September 1st, 2025.
  • Complete the admission challenge (send 50 USDC on MultiversX Devnet)
  • No prior blockchain experience is required, but basic programming knowledge is recommended.
  • Bring your laptop and curiosity!
  • Commitment: 6 hours per week (Tuesday & Thursday, 5-8 PM) + 24-hour hackathon weekend.
