Welcome to the hands-on workshop on How to create, deploy and run decentralized code!

This workshop provides a practical introduction to blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. You'll get hands-on how to execute decentralized code via smart contracts on the MultiversX blockchain.

Workshop Overview​

In this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the fundamentals of blockchain technology and consensus mechanisms
  • Set up a blockchain wallet and interact with the MultiversX testnet
  • Write and deploy your first smart contract using Rust

What to Bring​

Please bring your laptop. You can use our VM or setup the environment on your own laptop.

WiFi will be available at the venue.

Prerequisites​

  • Basic programming knowledge (any language)
  • Familiarity with command-line tools is helpful but not required
  • No prior blockchain experience needed!
